Anish & Nikhil met at University over their love of music, basketball and chai. During COVID Anish was diagnosed with cancer.

After many walks together drinking chai during his recovery, they moaned about how annoying it is to make and set off on a mission to solve this problem.

They met Andy, an incredible engineer, and Jon, world class industrial design partner at renowned design agency Pentagram, and the dream team was formed.

Loka is the result of 3 years of researching, developing, testing and tasting 1000s of cups of chai!
