Marketing & Community Associate
(Contract Role, Remote - ideally US/EU Timezones)
📍 Location: Remote (US or European Timezones)
📅 Contract: 3-5 days a week, 6-month initial contract with 1 month probation (with potential for extension)
🎯 Industry: DTC, E-commerce, Product Design
Fee range: $2,000-3,000 per month depending on experience and number of days

As a small but powerful remote team spread across multiple time zones, we’re looking for a marketing and community experience Swiss Army knife—someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and ready to roll up their sleeves. If you’re a fast learner, self-starter, and detail-oriented problem solver, this role is for you.
What You Will Do:
This is a multi-faceted role, with a mix of community support, brand and performance marketing (from creative development to media optimisation). Your work will directly impact our brand’s growth and community experience. Community is really important to us, we have thousands of customers who backed us pre-product, we are enormously grateful to them for their belief and we want to continue building a sustainable, long term business with and for them.
🛎️ Customer Support & Community Engagement

Oversee customer support across social media (using Meta Business Manager) and sales channels (using modern customer support software Gorgias)

Identify processes and workflows to make customer support effective (delighting our community) and efficient (faster resolutions)

Track customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores and drive improvements

Proactively analyze tickets, themes and data and suggest optimizations.
📢 Marketing & Growth Execution

Oversee and refine our paid media execution (Meta, Google, etc.) with support from founders and external mentors/advisors

Execute and refine our influencer marketing playbook, including:

Identifying the right influencers and managing product seeding

Creating and refining content briefs

Contracting influencers and ensuring high-quality creative delivery

Keep a close eye on key marketing metrics (ROAS, influencer conversion rates, engagement, etc.)
Who Are You:
🔹 3+ years experience in a marketing, customer support, or growth role—ideally within DTC/e-commerce (but open to fast learners from other backgrounds)
🔹 A get-things-done mindset—someone who is adaptable, solutions-driven, and detail-oriented
🔹 Comfortable managing multiple projects at once and executing at speed
🔹 Customer-first thinking—you care about making experiences delightful and seamless
🔹 Strong analytical skills—you’re not afraid of data and love tracking what works
