Loka Referral Programme - Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Loka Referral Programme (“Programme”) operated by We Are Loka Limited (“Loka”, “we”, “us”, “our”), and administered via Social Snowball. By joining or participating in the Programme, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• The Programme is open to individuals aged 18 or older with a valid email address and a genuine interest in Loka products.

• Referrers must have made a valid purchase from www.weareloka.com.

• Loka reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify participants who do not meet these criteria.

2. How It Works

• Once you join the Programme, you’ll receive a unique referral link generated via Social Snowball.

• Share your link with friends, family, or your community.

• When a new customer (“Referred Friend”) makes their first purchase using your link, they’ll receive $15 off, and you’ll receive $15 cash reward (“Reward”). 

• Rewards are tracked and managed automatically through Social Snowball.

3. Referral Rewards

• Rewards are issued as cash and/or discount codes redeemable only on www.weareloka.com.

• Rewards are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged or combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated.

• Rewards are issued only for first-time purchases made by Referred Friends using your link.

• Rewards become active once the Referred Friend’s order has been successfully processed, delivered, and past the return window (30 days).

4. Fraud, Misuse & Fair Use Policy

Loka celebrates genuine word-of-mouth sharing - but any attempt to game or exploit the system will result in permanent removal from the Programme. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:

• Creating multiple accounts, email addresses, or fake identities to self-refer.

• Posting referral links on coupon websites, discount forums, or paid ad networks.

• Encouraging referrals through misleading claims, spam, or deceptive content.

• Tampering with tracking links, manipulating order data, or interfering with Social Snowball’s tracking system.

• Attempting to redeem Rewards for returned, cancelled, or fraudulent orders.

Loka reserves the right to withhold, cancel, or revoke Rewards at any time if suspicious activity, fraud, or misuse is detected — at our sole discretion.

We may also suspend or terminate accounts under investigation and share relevant information with Social Snowball or law enforcement if required.

5. Programme Changes & Termination

• Loka may amend, suspend, or end the Programme at any time, with or without notice.

• If the Programme is ended, valid Rewards already earned before the termination date will remain available for their applicable redemption period (unless revoked under Section 4).

6. Limitation of Liability

• Loka is not responsible for technical issues, delayed Reward issuance, or problems arising from Social Snowball’s tracking system beyond our control.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loka shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from participation in the Programme.

7. Privacy

• Personal data collected as part of the Programme is processed by Loka and Social Snowball in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
