Who is it for

Chai lovers on the move.

If you hand-wash, brew multiple rounds, or want a quick level check, this strainer slips into your routine. Soft grip, quick clean, effortless to handle.

Why We Made It

Choice for every kitchen.

Some chai makers love classic steel, others want something softer and quicker between brews. The Silicone Strainer brings both together: the durability of steel with the everyday comfort and easy clean of silicone.

Loka Chai Maker
Silicone Strainer

Both built for perfect chai - choose which fits your kitchen ritual

We offer the Loka Chai Maker with two strainer options – both engineered for perfect chai, every time. Each is built for safety, durability, and ease. The only question is which one best suits your kitchen ritual.

Silicone Strainer

Choose Silicone for quick hand-washing and multiple daily brews.

Stainless Steel Strainer

Choose Stainless Steel if you plan to put in dishwasher after every use.

Your question, answered

Both are designed for perfect chai. Choose Silicone if you hand-wash often and want the fastest cleanup. Choose Stainless Steel if you prefer a pure metal part or mainly use a dishwasher.

No. The stainless steel mesh does the brewing, so taste is identical across both strainers. We also don’t compromise on materials - the silicone is the highest‑quality available and certified to EU, FDA, LFGB, and REACH standards

Yes. The silicone version separates into two parts for quick hand-washing. The stainless version is dishwasher safe and simple to maintain.

Because chai rituals differ. Some prefer the durability and simplicity of pure steel, others value the convenience of silicone. Both deliver the same great results - it’s all about your preference.

    Great chai maker!

I live in the Netherlands and this Chai maker couldn't be shipped directly so I ordered it from Amazon UK. Within 4 days I received it and could enjoy my own bland of chai!! Everything you see in the video's on social media and on website of Loka is true. Happy to brew my own chai and to have this chai maker!
