I loved the Loka with a few hiccups in the beginning, but I think this product is excellent. Particularly when you are traveling outside, like camping, I've actually created my journey with Loka, including different outdoor places where I've used it. Making tea was always a challenge, and I'm a huge tea lover.
So here are a few examples from my journey with Loka.

It does indeed take a few trials to dial it in, so this is useful to share with other readers here to manage initial expectations. The first 2-3 times weren’t the best just with figuring out the heat on my electric burner and the proportion of tea to milk/water. But by the the 4th and subsequent 6-8 times I’ve done it, it’s foolproof and makes a great cup of chai!
Using Kolkata chai mix. About 550-600ml of water/milk mix. Set my timer for 12 minutes and it’s perfection

I love chai tea, but hated making it myself as I always seemed to walked away for 10 seconds and the pot boiled over. I got so frustrated that I started searching for a pot specifically made to make chai tea and came across Loka. I saw that it had just finished being a kickstarter and was now for sale on their website. Got the chai maker three weeks ago and I am making chai most every morning without any boil overs. If you love chai tea and want to make your own, this is the thing to purchase. Its construction is outstanding, very solid, and easy to use and clean. Five stars!!!!!
